Chula Vista Municipal Golf Course: 4475 Bonita Road. This regulation 18-hole course with numerous trees is four miles east of Chula Vista. Rates for nine holes are $9 for residents, $11 for nonresidents on weekdays; $11 for residents, $14 for nonresidents on weekends. Coronado Municipal Golf Course: 2000 Visalia Row, Coronado. While this 18-hole, 6,700-yard, par-72 course looks placid from the outside, it plays much tougher. Green fees $20, $10 after 3 p.m. daily. 435-3121.
